Agora Rotaract Club is a District 2440 club that has been delivering community service projects in İzmir since 2011, guided by the principle of “Service Above Self”.
What We Do
Rotaract brings together people aged 18 and over to add value to their communities, develop leadership skills and build friendships around the world.
We identify needs on the ground and develop projects that deliver measurable, sustainable results.
Through training, guest speaker meetings and hands-on project management, we strengthen our members’ professional skills.
Through twin club agreements and joint projects, we build lasting ties with Rotaractors from different cultures.
Our Areas of Focus
We plan and deliver our projects in line with the seven areas of focus through which Rotary pursues lasting change worldwide.
We support a lasting culture of peace through work that strengthens dialogue and mutual understanding.
We run awareness and prevention projects that make health services easier to reach.
We help protect public health by improving access to clean water and hygiene awareness.
We support mothers and children in reaching quality health care and reliable information.
We widen learning opportunities for children and adults through projects that promote equal access to education.
We back initiatives that empower individuals and communities and contribute to production and employment.
We work in the field and through awareness programmes to protect natural resources and promote sustainable living.
